There’s now just two days to go until the 2017 FIL Rathbones Women’s Lacrosse World Cup and the teams have already been arriving in England at pre-tournament bases, getting themselves settled in.

We’ve compiled the best social media posts over the last few days as the teams fine tune their preparations for later this week!

Reigning champions USA and Japan took on each other in a warm-up scrimmage on Sunday afternoon

However, Team USA also used their down time to do some sightseeing and took a day-trip out to Harry Potter studios!

Spain have been using yoga to relax and prepare the minds at their pre-tournament base at Epsom College after playing a warm-up match against local side Clapham.

Netherlands have been getting hands on, marking out the practice pitches for their first day of training in England

Australia meanwhile, have been full focus taking on England’s Development side, who will compete in the World Cup Festival, in a friendly scrimmage at their warm-up base at Wycombe Abbey.

Two of the home nations, Ireland and Wales, met up just down the road in Bramley for a warm up game to get the legs going.

And the hosts England are also on the move to join us at Surrey Sports Park with England captain Laura Merrifield all packed and ready to go!
