The Federation of International Lacrosse will be hosting a Youth Development Clinic during the World Cup for boys and girls aged 8-16 on 19 & 20 July at St Catherine’s School, Bramley from 9am-1pm.

Both days will consist of building up both individual and team skills and each day will finish off with a series of matches.

The clinic is free of charge and participants will receive a free Lacrosse pinnie to take home with them. There is no previous lacrosse experience necessary to take part – Come and try out ‘the fastest game on two feet’!

If you’re coming down, bring a friend along, even if they’ve never played before, with some of the best international coaches around they’re sure to enjoy it.

You can also still come along even if you haven’t registered in advance. Just try to get down to the venue from 8.15am to get yourself signed up for FREE.

If you are interested in the FIL World Cup Youth Development Clinic and would like to receive more details as they are announced, please complete the form at the bottom this page.

Jane Pirie

I played 4 years in goals for the University of Richmond. As a teacher and coach for the past 30 years I have been fortunate to work with players of all ages. I helped start the town program where I live as my children came to the age where they could begin to play. I subsequently coached club lacrosse for a number of years at various age levels. I was invited to coach the Under Armour New England team for 3 years. I have helped to write portions of the US Lacrosse coaches education curriculum. I am a certified master trainer for Level 1,2,3 of this program. In addition to my work in the U.S. I have been fortunate to also conduct training clinics for coaches and players in Germany, Czech Republic and Taiwan.
