A vacancy is available for a Community Lacrosse Development Officer working in the Manchester area, starting from the 2018/19 season.
The appointed CLDO will be required to undertake community coaching in primary and secondary schools as part of a physical education curriculum as well as coaching in clubs in conjunction with both English Lacrosse and Brooklands Hulmeians LC.
They will also be required to coach on the English Lacrosse Talent Pathway and at English Lacrosse camps such as Triple Arrow.
The contracted hours and remunerations are flexible depending on the candidates’ experience and availability and can be discussed at interview.
The desired candidate will have:
- An English Lacrosse Level 2 Coaching Award
- A minimum of four years’ lacrosse experience at a club, school or HEI
- Previous experience of delivering sport to young people (either as a coach or leader)
- Basic First Aid and Safeguarding Training
