This is an exciting opportunity for coaches to develop employability skills through working in the independent school environment.

The successful applicants will be able to gain experience of teaching and coaching sport in primary and secondary pupils, as well as key skills from being deployed in a top school. You will already have a current level 2 in netball or hockey and must be willing to undertake a summer programme to develop skills in coaching lacrosse to level 2 standard.

You will coach a wide range of sports including different forms of lacrosse depending on age range. Along with coaching different age groups, you will be expected to officiate games for the school teams. Working as an SSO means you become part of the school system and therefore may be given pastoral duties such as assistant house or covering other members of staff when required.
