What is “On the Ball”?
“On the Ball: The Complete Lacrosse Award” is a combined course that covers the English Lacrosse Level 2 coaching qualification and a lacrosse Officiating qualification (in either the men’s game or the women’s game).
Where & When is the course?
The course will be on 23rd – 25th September, 9am – 4:30pm, at Reading Ibis Club, Scours Lane, Reading, RG30 6AY. You MUST be available for ALL 3 days.
£200 – EL Registered Individual
£230 – Non-EL Registered Individual
**We recommend that all aspiring Coaches and Officials become registered individuals with English Lacrosse.As of September 1st 2016 individuals will not be insured to coach lacrosse unless they are registered. For more information about individual registration please click register in the top left hand corner.
What do I get from “On the Ball”?
Once you have completed the 3 days course and assessments you will be a fully qualified Level 2 Lacrosse coach and Level 2 Lacrosse Official.
Who should do this course?
The purpose of this combined course is to up-skill the key members in clubs and universities in order to help them achieve the best for their club and community. If you are a key member, or are considering getting more involved in your club then we would encourage you to sign up.
You must be:
• 18 years or older on day of certification
• Minimum of 4 Years of Field Lacrosse Playing Experience
• Or Level 1 English lacrosse coaching award
• Or be Qualified Teacher Status with PE
• Or have another National Governing Body Level 2 Qualification in a team orientated sport
You will be required through a registration form to outline your experience
