English Lacrosse’s Joe Burnett Looks Forward to National Lacrosse Day

Joe Burnett, the English Lacrosse development officer for the South East is looking forward to tomorrow, it is the first ever National Lacrosse Day. Joe is a member of Maidstone LC and has encourage his club to get behind the day.

Maidstone are really excited for national lacrosse day tomorrow, we’ve decided to go all out for the event and make it as big a day as possible with men’s, women’s matches and our first ever junior game being played. We’ve got a stick give away challenge and a tea and cake afternoon for the spectators to enjoy. The committee have their work cut out for them, between managing junior teams, refereeing and serving tea and cake, they will all be playing in their respective games too. It’s great to see how everybody has got behind the event to support it and hopefully it will be a blast.
