St Swithun’s was founded as “Winchester High School” by Miss Anna Bramston in 1884, St Swithun’s is a modern educational organisation set on an impressive and attractive campus of 45 acres overlooking the Hampshire Downs on the outskirts of Winchester.
Camp Experience & Opportunities
Girls attending the camp can do so either as a day camper, experiencing a full lacrosse curriculum of events between drop-off and pick-up or as a residential camper. Residential campers, in addition to the lacrosse curriculum will also experience a programme of evening activities, breakfast each morning and an evening meal each night.
All campers will be served lunch on each day of the camp.
Residential campers will reside within St Swithuns onsite boarding houses. Campers will reside in either High House or Hyde Abbey, these boarding houses are used throughout the year by the schools boarders.
Drop-off & Pick-up Arrangements
Drop-off and Pick-up for all campers will take place at the school where car parking is available.
Residential campers will need to arrive between 9:30am-10:00am on Tuesday August 15th for Registration, this will allow camp staff to arrange your daughter’s accommodation prior to day campers arriving and camp starting
Day campers will need to arrive between 10:00am-10:30am on Tuesday August 15th for Registration.
From Wednesday onwards please ensure campers arrive at 8:45am for a 9:00am start.
Afternoon sessions will finish at 5:00pm, with pick-up between 5:15pm-5:30pm.
*Please be aware evening meals will not be provided for day campers and they must be off-site before 5:30pm.
Final Day Arrangements-Friday 18th August
All Parents/Guardians are invited to come and watch campers play from 2:00pm at the lacrosse pitches.
There will also be an opportunity for you to join the girls for a camp presentation which will take place at approximately 4:00pm.
If you are unable to attend the afternoon games or presentation, pick up will take place around 4:30pm-4:45pm.
As a minimum all campers must ensure they have the following;

Please ensure the ‘Kit List’ document below is downloaded for the full list of required items.
Residential campers should pay particular attention to the ‘kit list’ as there will be no washing facilities on site.
Girls are permitted to bring any mobiles and other electrical items (i.e. Tablets, iPods) if they desire however English Lacrosse cannot be held responsible if these items are damaged or lost over the duration of camp.

For parties of 6 or more campers all attending the same camp a £25 reduction per camper will be given.
On September 1st 2016 English Lacrosse’s individual registration came into effect, individual registration provides all registered individuals access to a comprehensive insurance package in addition to a number of other benefits, including;

For Triple Arrow Campers, as part of the camp registration individual registration will be included on a pro-rata basis meaning campers will be registered from the 1st – 31st August 2017.
What do you need to do?
To enable English Lacrosse to complete this process on your behalf all you are required to do is answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ on the camp booking form for the following question;
“Has the camper previously registered with English Lacrosse for the 2016/17 season?”
Please be aware this registration will only be valid from August 1st – August 31st and will cover girls partaking in the Triple Arrow Camps.
