Originally named The Chester School for Girls, Queens Chester was founded in 1878. Queen Victoria, the school’s first patron issued a royal decree naming the school as “The Queen’s School” in 1882, the only school in England to have this distinction.
The school currently educates over 600 girls between the ages of 4 – 18 years across its two campus’s, many of whom progress to their first choice higher education institute.
Camp Experience & Opportunities
The Queens School, Triple Arrow camp runs solely as a day camp with no residential option. Throughout the two day camp, all campers will experience a variety of lacrosse activities.
Campers from beginners to advance will be provided with coaching specific to their skill level to aid individual and personal progression.
**Please be aware that campers will not be provided with lunch whilst attending camp and a packed lunch must be brought by each camper on each day of camp.
Drop-off & Pick-up Arrangements
Campers will need to arrive between 09:30am-10:00am on Thursday 1st September for registration.
Registration will take place in the Sports Pavilion, which is located in the centre of the grass fields. (please see map link)
Drop-off for all campers will take place outside the school on City Walls Road, however please be aware parking is not permitted here. If you are required to park you can do so for a maximum of one hour on Stanley street, both these streets are shown on the map link available below. If parking your vehicle on Stanley Street parents and campers can walk around the school premises to the drop off-point/pavilion.
On Wednesday morning please ensure campers arrive at 9:15am to make a prompt 9:30am start.
Afternoon sessions will finish at 4:30pm, with pick-up between 4:45pm-5:00pm.
Parents are advised to utilise the 1 hour of available parking on Stanley Street for pick-up arrangements and walk around to collect girls from the pavilion.
**Please be aware evening meals will not be provided for campers and they must be off-site before 5:00pm
As a minimum all campers must ensure they bring the following to camp each day:

For the Lacrosse Season commencing 1st September 2016 English Lacrosse are implementing a new individual registration process, full details can be found HERE. English Lacrosse has worked hard and formed a relationship with Endsleigh Insurance to offer an extensive package to players, coaches and officials.
Annual registration for Juniors (Under 18) is £15, registration is compulsory for players who play in EL Leagues, tournaments, Regional Pathways but not for those who play purely in school matches.
Registration ensures all players, coaches and officials have access to a personal accident package, lacrosse equipment cover (Full Insurance Policy can be found HERE) plus additional benefits including exclusive discounts throughout the year including camps.
Those individuals who have registered with English Lacrosse for the 2016/17 season the cost for camp will be £65, for individuals who are not registered the cost for camp will be £85.
English Lacrosse would encourage all campers to be regsitered if they wish to attend camp.
