Team England only had 16 hours to re-charge the batteries to face Finland in their second game of the tournament. Even with tired legs from the day before England started strong with the ever dependable Sam Russell who netted a neat inside goal to give England the lead. England again dominated from the face-off X to ensure they controlled the lion share of possession in the opening quater. First quarter scorers came from Sam Russell, Colin Clive and Mike Armstrong.

Second period was a quiet one for England as they only added a single goal to their tally thanks to Ady Bennett to give England a 5-1 lead at half time.

The third quater saw a standout performance by Ady Bennett who scored four goals. Colin Clive added a single to give england a 10-2 lead going in to the fourth.

The final quarter brought the best out of Team England as they finished the quarter with a commanding 8-0. England goals came from Nick Watson, Tom Gallon, Colin Clive, Sam Russell, Ady Bennett and Sam Patterson to put the game well and truly out of the reach of Finland and finish the game 18-2.
