Purley Lacrosse club accident update

On Saturday 20th April members of the Purley Lacrosse club were involved in a road traffic accident on route to Cardiff Harlequins for a SEMLA Premiership fixture. Whilst travelling to Cardiff the team bus had a tyre blowout on the M4, which resulted in the bus flipping over and several members of the team being injured. We can now inform you that three members of the team were taken to hospital, of which two of the players were not seriously injured and released, however Andy Davies is still receiving treatment for a broken pelvis, facial injuries and a potential spinal injury.

English Lacrosse would like to wish the members of Purley Lacrosse Club involved in the accident a very speedy recovery.
