English Lacrosse has seen; a growth in the number of people playing, expansion of the number of club teams in leagues and a Bronze medal at the Women’s U19 World Cup. English Lacrosse will also host the 2017 Women’s World Cup (Surrey) and the 2018 Men’s World Championships (Manchester). Now is the time to be part of a dynamic and growing sport.
English lacrosse is now seeking applications for lacrosse coaching positions from people eligible to work in the UK who possess enthusiasm, drive, engaging interpersonal skills, creativity and adaptability. These coaching roles are based in community clubs, universities and girl’s schools’ and are ideal for graduates looking to develop key employability skills as well as those seeking a career in sport.
English Lacrosse has been deploying lacrosse specific coaching staff from the UK, United States and other countries to coach and develop lacrosse for 30 years. The staff are deployed to deliver lacrosse in programmes around the country which: improve standards, recruit players, increase participation, develop clubs and support lacrosse club initiatives. The contract is initially for a year, but many staff have extended this; to further their own personal, lacrosse and employability skills.
