Key facts

U19 Women
Exeter Uni

Amelia Ruiz

Mimi is a graduate of LEH school where she showed her incredible goal-keeping ability from a young age. As part of the school team, which she captain in her final year, she reached two National Schools finals but the team never managed to pull out the win in the finals, a result they found hard to take but brought them closer as a team to move on each year. Mimi now plays at Exeter University where she has had a successful fist year, reaching the semi-finals of BUCS and being a University sports scholar. As part of the England team Mimi has achieved two Home Ints caps and participated in 3 tours, as well as an additional goalie trip to our assistant coach Mike Molester in the US. Don’t be fooled by Mimi’s stature – getting a ball past her is like trying to host a lacrosse tournament in Edinburgh with no rain. Watch as she thrives on denying close in attackers and launches the ball into the Forth with her clears.
