International Experience
Georgie has represented Team England in two FIL World Cups in 2009 and 2013 and was also co-captain for the U19 team that won a bronze medal at the 2007 FIL U19 World Cup in Peterborough, Canada.

Current member of Clapham Lacrosse club, attended Cambridge University winning BUCs in 2008.

Getting to know Georgie…

Q: At what age did you begin to play lacrosse?
A: 12

Q: What are you most looking forward to RWLC17?
A: The first one- because then I don’t have to wait as long! Also playing the Canadians- ever since U19 level the matches against Canada have been very close and physical battles.

Q: What’s your proudest Lacrosse moment?
A: Winning the U19 World Cup bronze medal game against Canada with just 17 seconds left on the clock.

Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals/superstitions?
A: Before big matches I always listen to “Listen to Beethoven” by Mark Isham- it’s from the film Warrior and helps me get ready for battle!

A: STX Crux i

A: Encouragement is giving those around you the courage to do things they would not otherwise be able to do. Coach K of Duke basketball

Q: What is your favourite food (s)?
A: Crisps! Roast potatoes, smoothies and peanut butter

A: George Ezra, Wilful  Mising and Mumford and Sons

Q: Who is your favourite sports hero (s)?
A: Martin Johnson, Jess Ennis and Steve Wojciechowski (duke basketball player)
