Hannah Thurston, is our youngest member of the squad only having played lacrosse for 4 years. Hannah is currently at school at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, where she was part of the U15 winning National Lacrosse team, which lost the final the previous year in the U14 tournament. This was the first time Hannah had experienced any form of real disappointment through lacrosse and it took a while for her and her team mates to come to terms with it. However, they overcame this and went onto win the following year. Hannah joined the squad in January and since has gone from strength to strength, taking part in a Home Internationals and a tour, eventually getting selected for the World Cup this summer. You won’t miss Hannah on the pitch – she is the one who looks like she is out for a jog running past everyone else who is trying to sprint. Her youthful ‘no fear’ attitude makes her happy to take on a drive or mark-up against top attacks, backing her pace to do the damage.
