India-Rose May

India started her lacrosse career at Wycombe Abbey School where she finished her final year as School Captain. Her playing career has not been without its setbacks though: in 2013 she sustained a groin injury which put her out of play for 3 months; however she diligently rested and followed her rehab programme to make it back to play on the final day of the National Schools tournament that year. She has gone on to play for Durham University 1st team, winning BUCS in her first season with them. In addition she is also a Vice-Chancellor Sports Scholar at the university. Watch out for India in double teams this summer and all over loose balls in the defence. If you can’t pick her out – she is the one making all the noise in the defence.
