Club/School/College/County (Territorial) Experience
Sophie started playing pop lacrosse at primary school aged 9, after which a group of enthusiastic parents and coaches set up Foxes Junior Lacrosse Club based in Chislehurst, Kent.  As there were not enough children to make either a girls or boys squad, she started initially playing men’s lacrosse and represented the South of England at under 14, winning the North Six-a-Side competition in 2003. Sophie progressed to ladies lacrosse and represented Kent A at under 15 and under 19, and subsequently played for East at under 19.  Sophie made the team playing for Beckenham Ladies from when she was 12, until she went to university in 2010. Since starting at Liverpool John Moores University Sophie started LJMU’s first lacrosse club alongside playing for Oxton Lacrosse club where she has been part of European Club Championship success.  Sophie has represented the North of England since moving to Liverpool in 2010.
