Team England Prepare to Defend European Lacrosse Championship Title

Following the excitement of the past few weeks with the U19’s in Edinburgh, it is now the turn of the senior’s to represent England on the international stage, this time at the 2015 ELF European Championships in Nymburk, Czech Republic.

The 18 strong team departed yesterday ahead of their opening game against the Czech Republic on Thursday. England will enter the tournament as favorites, winning the competition in 2012, but will face tougher competition than in Amsterdam, with Israel and Wales also fielding strong teams at this years championships.

England will play three group games against Czech Republic, Finland and Norway before the knockout stages begin on Monday, the tournament finishes on August 15th. English Lacrosse will be bringing you exclusive coverage of Team England as they try to retain their title in Nymburk.
