23rd October – Boston University

Boston University is one of four new programmes that will make their NCAA Division 1 debuts next year. Head Coach Ryan Polly has had to create a team from scratch and this is reflected in a huge freshmen class which makes up 32 of his 42-man roster. Polly has brought in 8 transfers which include former Boston University club players* who have made the step up to NCAA Lacrosse. This will add some much needed experience to their young roster, however this is likely to be the most inexperienced team Team England will face during their tour.

The Terriers played their first game of the year at the Northeast Classic last weekend, with games against Sacred Heart and Hartford (highlights below). They will also host an alumni-game* this weekend so Coach Polly will have some time get his players some much needed game time before they face Team England next Wednesday. *Boston fielded a club team before joining the NCAA this year.
