We interview newly appointed Team England head coach Tom Wenham

We recently travelled to Sheffield Hallam Sports Park to meet the new Team England Senior Men’s Head Coach Tom Wenham.

Tom has been actively involved with the national squad for a number of years both as a player, representing England in several European Championship and a World Championship in 2002, and as a coach, having been involved since 2006 when he was asked to join the coaching staff for the 2006 World Championships in London, Ontario.

Since then Tom has gone on to become the Head Coach for the U19s leading the team to a fourth place finish in 2008. As an assistant Tom continued with the senior squad at two more World Championships in 2010 in Manchester and last summer in Denver.

In this interview we wanted to find out what he has planned for the senior national team going forward and what we can expect from him and his team as they plan for the European Championships next summer in Hungary and the 2018 World Championships when they return to Manchester.
