SENIOR Women’s Regionals – North to Host
Guest teams, England U19s & Wales U19s
After the inaugural BUCS Lacrosse 8s in 2017, the tournament is back again in 2018. 8s is an exciting version of the game which offers a new playing experience for students, whilst providing more opportunities to play a growing sport.
The Manchester Challenge is a junior participation event, which has been created in partnership with the Manchester City Council. The event will invite junior teams from all-over the country at the U11, U13 and U15 age groups and will also include a junior development tournament for beginners at the U8s and U10s age groups. The Manchester Challenge will also be run alongside the Senior National Club Championships.
The National Club Championships is an elite tournament intended to establish both a national men’s and women’s club champion. The National Club Championships will invite the best two men’s and three women’s clubs from the North and South and South West Lacrosse Associations. The tournament will be played on Saturday 12 & 13 May with the men competing for the Iroquois Cup, the traditional trophy awarded to the men’s national champion and the women competing for the Women’s National Club Trophy.
The champions of the men’s and women’s games will also represent England at the European Club Championships in September.
