Lacrosse Coach Wanted

We are a club team in Germany searching for a lacrosse coach for the upcoming season (Middle of August 2008 – End of May 2009). Göttingen, a town right in the middle of Germany, is a University city. Hence our teams are confronted with an on-going search for new players every season (because of people leaving when they finish their degrees).

At this stage both teams, aged from 16 to 30, have a lot of potential and are eager to learn and become better lacrosse players. Most players now have achieved the same level of play as the players that coach them at the moment. That's why we are looking for a new coach.

Your profile:

Playing experience
Coaching experience

Your duties:

- coaching the men's team (no playing)
- coaching the women's team
- practice two to three times a week per team
- games on the weekends

We offer:

-10 months of coaching (2 month test phase)
-Additional workplace (depending on your education, schooling)
-Apartment
-A monthly allowance of 200 Euros
-2 flights back and forth (coming here and going home, and Christmas)
-Teaching you the German language
