English Lacrosse has two coaching workshops available for June and July.
6th June The Armitage Centre, Manchester University
Cost - £30
Time 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Practical coaching – drills, techniques and practices delivered by the Men’s National Coaching Staff. This will be a full day for advice, support and enhanced practical delivery specific to men’s field lacrosse. This will cover aspects of the game disseminated through work with US collegiate coaching staff for individuals, units and teams.
Who should attend – qualified active coaches delivering to all areas of the men’s game

18th July Manchester University
Cost – Free
Time – 4 p.m. to 6.30.p.m.
This will be a seminar and workshop on:
· The new UK Coaching Certificate Level 1 and the Coaching Pathway
· The needs of the participant for your clubs
· Developing a club curriculum for coaching
The seminar and workshops will be facilitated by the English Lacrosse Coach Education Tutor workforce.
Who Should attend – qualified coaches, volunteer managers, programme managers and lead coaching staff at territory or county level.

Train to Gain
English Lacrosse is pleased to announce a free NVQ course in Lacrosse. The course based through Trafford College will enable people, aged 16+, with no formal sports qualifications to access a free NVQ 2 Coaching Teaching and Instructing in Lacrosse. Education and Skills Manager, Paul Coups, has successfully engaged with Trafford College and Skills Active to enable people, who meet the criteria, to access the course for free as part of the Train to Gain initiative. There will be a sign up session at Brooklands Lacrosse Club on Thursday 27th May at 6.30 p.m.
