2010 Update

Believe it or not the 2010 FIL World Championships are just over a year away! The next big event is the official launch of Manchester 2010 which will take place in Manchester Town Hall on Tuesday 21st July. At the end of July tickets will go on sale with a special "early bird "offer ; the 2010 range of merchandise will be released and opening games will be announced. Then we will definitely know we are only a year away!!
Exciting news from English Lacrosse Head Office is that in recent months 32 teams have registered for the 2010 FIL Festival including "The Devils" from South Korea. Already over 50% of the spots have been taken in the FIL Festival, which will hopefully prove to be the biggest Festival of Lacrosse ever at a World Championships.
July also brings some new additions to the 2010 event website. Which include a YouTube viewer… get your favorite lax vids up on http://www.2010worldlacrosse.com simply post a link to your video on the group wall and 2010 staff will add it to the video rotation! We also know have a resident blogger, English Lacrosse CEO David Shuttleworth enters the world of blogging for the first time- go to http:www.2010worldlacrosse.blogspot.com to view blog updates on 2010!
