Centurion Awards are made by the Centurion Lacrosse Club to recognise and honour people who have given exceptional meritorious service to lacrosse. Successful winners of a Centurion Award will be invited to join us as a guest at our dinner at The House of Lord’s where they will be presented with an engraved silver salver and a framed citation at a suitable Lacrosse occasion. The Centurion Lacrosse Club dinner will be held on 24 June 2016.
Examples of such service are exceptional performance as a player; long term leadership of progress of a club; expansion of lacrosse in a new area; significant development of a club over several years; successful coaching to bring a team to a higher level of achievement.
Nominations are invited in writing from clubs or administrative bodies giving summary of the service rendered. Individuals may also submit nominations provided that they are signed by three supporters. Nominations should be sent to Rob Collinge by e mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or posted to 12 Walsingham, St John’s Wood Park, London NW8 6RG by 29 February 2016.
All nominations will be considered by the Centurion Lacrosse Club which may ask for further information or verification. The Club has absolute discretion in selecting the successful candidates and will not enter into any discussion or correspondence with any official bodies or individuals concerning the selection.
