The Intermediate Flags between Hillcroft and Cardiff Harlequins was undoubtedly the game of the day, with end-to-end action until the final whistle. Both sides were in fine form and the score reflects the competitive nature of the game. Hillcroft prevailed and came out on top to win the Flags by a margin of 8 goals to 7.
In the opening game of the day Oxford University faced Warwick in the Minor Flags. Like the games that followed, this was a highly competitive and exciting game to watch.
