Coups Names Team England U19 Roster for the 2016 U19 World Championships

Head coach of Team England U19’s Paul Coups has selected his 23-man playing roster that will travel to Coquitlam, Vancouver in July to compete in the 2016 FIL U19 World Lacrosse Championships.

Team England will play in the Blue Division and will face the USA, Canada, Iroquois and Australia. The opening game will see Team England face the Iroquois Nationals on July 8th in Percy Perry Stadium in Coquitlam.

Coups commented on the selection and the upcoming U19 World Championships. “We’ve gone through a rigorous selection process over the past 8 months and the coaching staff and I are delighted with the team we have selected to represent England this July in Canada.”

He also named his captains that will lead his team in the tournament, they will be Poynton’s Alex Russell, Timperley’s Grady Jackson-Fayle and Rochdale’s Daniel Matthews.
