British sports brand PlayerLayer and English Lacrosse have agreed a partnership making PlayerLayer the official kit supplier. The new kit will be worn for the first time by the women’s team in June 2016, during the Australia Test Series, and by the men’s team in this July’s European Championships.
The agreement will see PlayerLayer join forces with an organisation that is growing in profile, in a sport that continues to go from strength to strength, experiencing considerable growth at both a domestic and international level. Parallels can be drawn between the journeys of both PlayerLayer and English Lacrosse, which makes the relationship even more fascinating.
“PlayerLayer is very much looking forward to working with English Lacrosse. They are perfect for our brand – young and constantly growing, very similar to PlayerLayer. With the 2017 and 2018 world events taking place in England, there is an extra level of anticipation for all parties concerned, so we’re delighted to be a part of it. We will be producing a high performance kit with classic designs, and have just started work on some revolutionary projects, which will be released around the time of the World Championships. Clearly, there is much to look forward to for both English Lacrosse and PlayerLayer.”
Rod Bradley – Marketing Director, PlayerLayer
PlayerLayer is an exciting new British sports brand. The company makes exclusive, high quality performance sports clothing which can be personalised and customised for both teams and individuals. PlayerLayer began by specialising in personalised baselayers for professional athletes and clubs in rugby, football, cricket and hockey. PlayerLayer now provides a wide range of sports clothing with the same customisation possibilities. The deeply engrained ethos of the brand professes the importance of togetherness and pride within a team or organisation. In the words of PlayerLayer “BELONG”.
“This partnership is an exciting development for England Lacrosse. We are entering into an important period for the national squads with the 2017 and 2018 world events around the corner. Both England teams will be seeking to win medals on home soil at their respective events; PlayerLayer performance kit will play its part in this aspiration. I am looking forward to working with such a young, creative company. The future of high performance kit for lacrosse is looking bright.”
