The first National POP Lacrosse Championships was played in 1992 and has continued to grow each year. The tournament brings together all regional school together from all over the cournty to play in a single National POP Lacrosse Championship to establish a overall champion of the UK.
The Background of Pop Lacrosse
POP Lacrosse was introduced in the 1980s and since then has become very popular with primary schools and is particularly suitable for delivering Key Stages in the National PE Curriculum. The game is played as a five-a-side mixed boys and girls, non-contact version of Lacrosse which is fast paced and fun to play.
National POP Venue:
The 2014 finals will be taking place at the University of Hertfordshire on Sunday 15th June.

Tournament Information – Will be released closer to the event..
There will be a number of teams representing the areas of Scotland, Wales, North, North West, North East, Midlands, South West, South East and East at the tournament. Each team should consist of a maximum of 8 players 4 boys, 4 girls all under 11 years. All teams will need to bring their own sticks a maximum of 5 sticks only on the field of play.
Any team not complying with this will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
