Andrew Baxter

International Experience

Andrew started his international career in 2009 at the age of 20 when he was successfully selected after attending the open trial. He then went on to represent England in the 2010 Manchester World Championships, which was his first experience of real International lacrosse.

Andrew then went on to represent England in the Indoor Lacrosse World Championships, in Prague 2011 giving him his first taste of the indoor game. The following year Andrew was part of the Gold Medal winning team in the 2012 Amsterdam European Championships, in which he was also named on the All-European Team for the tournament.

He then took part in his 2nd World Championships in 2014 in the USA and in 2016 was part of the Gold medal-winning squad at the European Championships in Hungary.

Andrew has also represented England on a number of tours playing against NCAA colleges and MLL teams.

Club/School/College/County (Territorial) Experience

Andrew began his playing career at his local club, Brooklands. At the start of the 2010/11 club season Andrew transferred to the Cheshire club, Stockport. Over the last four seasons Andrew has represented Stockport’s 1st team and has won various leagues, flags and other trophies. Andrew has represented Lancashire at both junior and senior level and most recently Cheshire at senior level.
