Hannah Bray, first started playing lacrosse at the age of 11 at The Godolphin School, Salisbury. As a young girl her talent was spotted as she captained her U15 school lacrosse team, progressing on to captain the West of England team, which she was a member of for 3 years. Whilst playing at school she won the National schools tournament in 2013 and attained a sports scholarship to Bristol University where she will start her studies in September 2015. During her lacrosse career Hannah suffered from an ankle injury which prevented her from playing for several months. Before she was able to play again, she went through a rigorous process of rehab ensuring she maintained as much of her fitness as possible. This was a difficult period but soon after her injury she was selected to represent England at the Home Internationals, resulting in a further selection for the USA tour in April. With a wicked dodge and quick acceleration Hannah runs past defenders for fun. A powerful side arm shot is one of her many tricks in the bag, which also include the best 1 handed grab in the team – frequently put to good use at the draw.
