By the age of 23 Jak will have represented England at four International Championships. Firstly, at the U19 World Championships in Vancouver, Canada where he started at close-defence and was the youngest English player on the squad that placed 4th overall. Then again, at the 2010 Men’s World Championships in his hometown of Manchester, where again he was the youngest player on the squad and in the entire Blue Division. Jak was a member of the 2012 European Championships squad who won the gold medal in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Now embarking upon his fourth championships as an England player in Denver, USA, Jak hopes to help England to secure a spot in the top 4 and a place in medal rounds.

Club/School/College/County (Territorial) Experience
Jak is a product of Heaton Mersey’s junior program, he has represented Lancashire all county levels when he captained the U16 & U19 teams, and represented the senior team on multiple occasions. Jak spent a year at US High School and lacrosse powerhouse Avon Old Farms Prep, under Head Coach Henry ‘Skip’ Flanagan, where he captured the Founders League title and a scholarship to NCAA Division 1 Stony brook University. At Stony Brook he won an America East Conference Title and a birth to the NCAA Division 1 Championship with fellow England teammate Nick Watson. Jak transferred to rival Division 1 school; Providence College, to complete his remaining NCAA eligibility there and compete in the Big East Conference.

A: Iroquois because of the tradition that they hold and the style that they play offensively.
