Oliver Barrett

International Experience
Oliver first represented his country at the 2012 under 19 world championships in Turku, Finland where the team placed 4th. The 2016 European Championships in Hungary will be his first experience representing his country at senior level.

Club/School/College/County (Territorial) Experience
Oliver became interested in lacrosse at the age of 10 when he started playing at his local club (Foxes Lacrosse Club). By the time he was 15 he was a member of the men’s team (Croydon Lacrosse Club). After a number of years with Croydon, Oliver made the transition to a premiership club when he joined Walcountian Blues. From the age of 16 Oliver was selected for the South of England men’s team. At the age of 18 Oliver moved to Sheffield where he played for Sheffield University while studying at Sheffield Hallam. During this period Oliver also represented Yorkshire twice. In 2012 Oliver got the opportunity to represent his country for the first time at the U19 world championships in Finland. After completing 3 seasons with the Tanager (Sheffield University) he moved back home and resumed his club career at Walcountian Blues for the 2014/15 season. Oliver has won numerous trophies for his club (NEMLA & SEMLA), county and university.
