U19 Women

Zoe Thursz

Zoe started playing lacrosse aged 11 years at Berkhamsted School where she went on to be both school and Hertfordshire captains. In the build up to the world cup she has accumulated 3 Home Ints caps and participated in 3 England tours. She now plays at Oxford University where she has achieved a Blue in her first year and was a BP sports scholar. During the build up to the world cup she has had an intense year of academic pressure and heavy workload meaning training and work had to be prioritised, making sacrifices in other areas to make sure she can perform at her best in Edinburgh where she will be one of the vice-captains of the team. Zoe will be all over the defensive end this summer as she slides to cover players fast. She may be small but taking her lightly would be the biggest mistake an attack could make as her quick footwork makes her impossible to beat.
