As of October 2016 English Lacrosse will be offering an alternative to face-face courses, the on-line course will be hosted via the on-line Moodle platform with learners receiving access to on-line course materials and on-line forum monitored by qualified officials and tutors.
Included in the course fee is an ‘EL Officials Pack’ the contents of which are detailed below.
Please note these packs are currently being manufactured and will be shipped at a later date.
The purpose of the level one course is to enable both those with experience of the game (players) and those with little experience (volunteers/parents) to be able to safely officiate a game in conjunction with other qualified officials. English Lacrosse does not support officiating alone. It is imperative not only for the safety of play but also for players enjoyment that each game has a minimum of 2 officials.
