It is with much excitement and anticipation we can announce the Inaugural National Universities Lacrosse Tournament. The tournament is happening in Durham on the weekend of the 27^th and 28^th of February 2010.

The venue is Graham Sports Centre, Maiden Castle, Durham, DH1 3SE. The tournament will run from approximately 10.30 – 3.30 on Saturday and 10.30 – 3.00 on Sunday. The tournament will cost £100 for the 1^st team you enter and £50 for any additional teams.

The drive behind the tournament is to get all the university teams in one place each year. It will give you an opportunity pit your skills against universities you otherwise wouldn’t get to play, either because you get knocked out of the BUCS championship early or the distance is too great for teams to travel. The tournament will be organised so that you get to play loads of different universities, and so that as many of the games as possible are evenly matched.

As you are no longer at school, and being chaperoned by teachers, we are trying to make some deals with local clubs and bars to allow you to enjoy Durham in the evening and catch up with friends.
