England V's Iropuois 3rd/4th Place Play Off

Team Iroquois thwarted England U19s challenge for the bronze medal. In a pulsating game the first quarter saw England trade shots and finished 1-3 behind.

The second quarter followed the same pattern. Goalie Ant Hayes led the team with some excellent saves. The score at half time was 8-4 in favour of the Iroquois.

The England team continued to press the Iroqouis trading goals and looking to raise their game. However, the Iroqouis continued to build a lead. The third quarter score line of 11-6 was too much for the team to overcome in the last quater. With England Chasing the game the Iroqouis pulled away to win 19-10.

Another good team performance by the England Team with contributions from all over the field. Disappointment in not getting the bronze medal but a very satifying victory over the Australians showed what this team is capable of.
