Re: BUSA Men’s Lacrosse Team Registration 2008-2009
As you may or may not be aware due to the success of the regional tournaments the past two years and response to the BUSA survey in November, Men’s Lacrosse has officially been sanctioned as a BUSA league sport from the 2008-2009 season.
Team registrations are now being undertaken for all sports by University Athletic Unions for the upcoming season. The system is done online and needs to be completed by the 9th May.
At this point I encourage all of you to coordinate with your respective athletic unions to ensure that your team is registered for the upcoming BUSA season. I would also like to reiterate by participating in a BUSA league does not prohibit your club from participating in SEMLA and NEMLA leagues or vice versa.
This is a tremendous opportunity and step forward for developing lacrosse at university level. I do hope that this opportunity strengthens your development potential and support from your Athletic Union.
