Getting to know Emma. . .
Q: At what age did you begin to play lacrosse?
A: 12 Years Old
Q: What’s your proudest Lacrosse moment?
A: Leading our Loughborough Lacrosse Team in the BUCs Championships Final in front of Princess Anne was pretty amazing… or another would have to be winning a European Gold Medal!
Q: What are you most looking forward to at RWLC17?
A: A world cup in England with a home crowd is something to really look forward to – but I think the games I am most looking forward to are the big games against US, Canada & Australia where we will have a strong English crowd to support and cheer us on.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals/superstitions?
A: I have to ensure every single wispy strand of hair is clipped away from my face before a game otherwise I (stupidly) think it may obstruct my vision at a pivotal point in the game!
Q: What’s your “Weapon of Choice” favourite lacrosse stick?
A: I am currently playing with the Brine Empress.
Q: What is your favourite quote?
A: “I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”
Q: What is your favourite food (s)?
A: Cant beat a home cooked roast dinner after a hard day of lacrosse!
Q: What is your favourite music/band (s)?
Q: Who is your favourite sports hero (s)?
A: Jess Ennis-Hill one of my role models and is true ambassador for women in sport. I also admire Jonny Wilkinson as a sporting hero for his work ethic and commitment.
Q: What is your favourite movie (s)?
A: Harry Potter
Q: What is your favourite TV show (s)?
A: I think all Bear Grylls’ shows are great.
